STORY TIME!! Me and my friend @dandrewmusic decided to try to write a song together for a songwriting class he was taking and the prompt he had in mind to write the song was "Feeling Good". We talked for a while about alllll the things that made us feel good and the type of sound we wanted to go for. We quickly came up with the chorus and post chorus and created the verses and prechorus around the chorus idea! We wrote it all in one sitting and we recorded a demo with my acoustic guitar & vocals and David added all the production around the demo!! I think it turned out SO FUN and the rhythmic-ness David added in the Intro and Post Choruses are my favorite! The amazing @PaulKimsal helped us mix and master the song too! Such a great song made with a good friend. Hope you enjoy! 🎉 ⠀⠀

Every now and then, life gives you moments of clarity. And you want to hold on to those moments because sometimes they provide the only light on a dark dark path. Who are you going to be? You were born to be a “chooser.” You are defined by what you embrace. So embrace something heroic, something inspiring, something worthy of a good report.
So I just want to take a moment to post about how much I appreciate these two people. I spent a week in a cabin with @myleohart and @gabe.gleason to refocus on life and re-engage with creativity. And I can’t think of a better way to have spent my time. Super grateful to call them friends. They don’t just put up with me, they call me to be a better version of myself. It’s rare, humbling, and exhilarating all at once. And I count it a privilege to be in their lives in any capacity. 😊
